2021 BECE Private Examination Registration – How to Register

WAEC has commenced the 2021 BECE Private examination registration. It opened the portal for registration for applicants who may want to apply for the examination.
The 2021 BECE for Private Candidates registration is also a hint that the 2020 school placements will be out soon. Note that often BECE graduates with grade 9 in Maths/Science are not placed, and such students may have to better their grades by taking the 2021 BECE Private Examination.

Details about the 2021 BECE Private Examination for candidates
Per the regulations of the West Africa Examination Council, the Private BECE is for only students who have attained age 16 or higher and are first-timers. Candidates who did not make the grades in the previous examination are also permitted to take the examination, as are taking the examination as (re-sitters) who could not pass or failed.
How to register for 2021 BECE for Private examination
Below are the guidelines for the 2021 BECE Private Examination Registration. Follow it to register now.
1.Visit the Private Candidates registration website.
2. From the options, select link to BECE (PC) – PC means Private Candidate.
3. Click on “Start Registration Here” to commence the 2021 BECE for Private Candidates registration
4. Re-Sitters are to provide the index number they used in the previous examination and continue.
5. FIRST-Timers – provide your date of birth and continue
6. At this stage of your 2021 BECE for Private examination registration, fill in the required security data, i.e. password, security question, etc.
7. Fill in your personal information.
8. Select your Region and then Centre (where you wish to take the examination).
9. Upload your image (recent passport-sized photograph with a white background) and your signature (written in blue or black ink).
10. Select the subject(s) you intend to write.
11. Print your voucher and send to any of the banks listed in item 14.
12. Print your Declaration Form for endorsement by your parent/guardian and submit same to the WAEC office in your region.
13. Pay the appropriate fees at the participating banks or through mobile money.
14. Use your PIN/Invoice Number to access your Index Number and Admission Notice from 20th January 2021.
