2022 BECE Challenge: Tip 3 On How To Pass Any Exams (Take regular breaks)
A few days before the 2022 BECE Challenge, we call on students to take regular breaks when learning.
This means you should learn in bits and also take breaks in between.
You can learn for 45 minutes and take between a 10 and 15 minutes break. This helps your brain to relax and refresh for the next lesson or session.
Do not put unnecessary pressure on the brain by learning for long hours without rewarding the brain with freshness and off-the-book relaxation.
You will be deceiving yourself if you think by study for several hours without break is the best. Long hours of study without break only makes you unproductive and also leads to a waste of precious time.
Lay your head on your desk or learning table and take a 10 to 15 power nap.
Close your eyes and meditate or take a walk.
Sometimes, doing a different task or learning a different subject or a different topic after the break helps keep you motivated and alert.
It has been proven that if you want to be able to learn well and retain knowledge, taking a break is key.
Check your learning periods and work out how to break and when to break.
When you take a break, move away from the book, take a short walk around the learning area or move out to appreciate nature, look at beautiful things around the place, and calm your mind.
To prevent fatigue or tiredness during the study, take breaks.
To keep your focus constantly on your study and prevent your brain from wandering while sitting behind your book, take a break.
Taking regular breaks helps the mind to be refreshed, maintain attention and regain motivation.
