On day two of the ongoing 2023 National Science & Maths Quiz (r #NSMQ2023) Quater Final, Opoku Ware SHS initiated their journey and attempt into the Semis. They started off with the intent to dislocate of hopes of Osei Tutu SHS and St. John’s School to book a seat in the #NSMQ2023 Semis finals.
Today October 16, 2023, Prempeh College is facing Mawuli School and Abefiti Presby SHTS. Opoku Ware School is expected to vie for the 30th Anniversary Trophy against St. John’s School and Osei Tutu SHS. Pope John’s SHS & Min. Seminary will also battle for a Semi-final Spot, facing St. James Seminary SHS and Aburi Presby SHTS.
On the day, the Osei Tutu SHS provided all the needed threats to shake the hope of Opoku Ware but the OWASS lads kept their composure and won the contest with a difference of 2 points between them and Osei Tutu SHS. One more correct answer by Osei Tutu SHS would have changed the entire narrative.

Quarter-final Stage competitions on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, St. Augustine’s College, 2022 Semi-finalists, will compete against the current highest scorer in the NSMQ 2023 competition, Keta SHTS, and Tamale SHS. Following suit, Kumasi Sec. Tech. will seek a Semifinal spot against two-time champions Mfantsipim School and Yilo Krobo SHS. Wrapping up the Quarterfinal Stage Competitions, Presec, Legon, the most successful school in NSMQ history, will vie for an eighth title against Accra Academy and GSTS. The NSMQ 30th Anniversary competitions have reached new heights, delivering intense suspense and enthusiasm. Best of luck to all participating schools!
