The March 2021 edition of the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) was written by some 18,349 graduate teachers according to the National Teaching council.
In all, there were representing 9,346 males (50.9%) and 9,003 females (49.1) sat for the March 2021 Ghana teacher licensure examination held on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th May 2021 across 26 centres nationwide.
The National Teaching Council organized the mandatory examination for graduates who have completed college and teacher-training university.
Subjects administered by the council in the March GTLE were Literacy and Essential Professional Skills and Numeracy.

In an interview with the media, the spokesperson for the NTC, Dr. Christian Addai-Poku encouraged the managers of colleges to keep up the good work in order to make the whole exercise very fruitful.
