2023 BECE To Start At 9:00am Each Day
All 2023 BECE candidates must take note that all morning papers for the 2023 BECE will begin at exactly 9:00am. Candidates needs to be seated at the examination hall latest by 8:30am.
The BECE have officially begun. Two papers will be written on Monday. They include; Religious and Moral Education (RME) and English Language. RME will be written first followed by the English Language.
Religious and Moral Education 2 (Essay) will start at exactly 9.00 a.m. and end at 10.00 a.m. Religious and Moral Education 1 (Objective) will also start at 10.00 a.m. and end on 10.45.
Candidates will now take a break from 10:45 am to 1:00pm.
The English Language paper will begin at 1:00pm. However, candidates must be seated 30 mins before that time. The English Language 2 (Essay) will start 1.00 p.m. and end at 2.10 p.m. The Objectives will start at 2.10 p.m and end at 2.45 p.m.
TIPS FOR CANDIDATES
1. Candidates will sit based on their index numbers. The index numbers are generated using the surname of candidates. Candidates whose surname starts with the letters A or B are usually found at the first row of the exams hall. This varies as some examiners or invigilators do prefer to start the arrangement from the back of the exams hall.
2. The distance between seats will be between 1 meter and 2 meters. This will prevent some candidates from cheating.
3. Candidates will not use the same examination hall to write all papers. Writing elective subjects will require a small number of candidates and for this reason, the exams hall or the seat one sat on for a core subject paper will not be the same seat for the elective subject paper.
