Bawumia congratulates Tamale Senior High School for qualifying to 2024 NSMQ semi-final stage

Vice-President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has congratulated his alma mater Tamale Senior High School for qualifying for the semi-final stage of the ongoing 2024 edition of the National Science and Mathematics Quiz.
“Congratulations to Tamale Senior High School (TAMASCO), my proud alma mater, on your impressive victory and qualification to the semi-finals of this year’s National Science and Maths Quiz.
Indeed, we are the shining light of the North. Your hard work, determination, and brilliance continue to make all of us proud.
I wish you the very best as you prepare for the next stage and remain hopeful that you will emerge victorious as champions this year,” the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate for the 2024 election said in a post.
The Tamale-based Senior High School competed against Accra Academy and St. John’s School at the quarter-final stage of the 2024 National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
Tamale SHS stormed into the semi-final stage with 40 points, edging out St. John’s School, who secured 38 points, while Accra Academy trailed with 32 points in a contest that kept the audience on edge.
