The incident unfolded when the bullion van paused at a fuel station, presumably for refueling. Looking at the vulnerable  moment, the robbers seized the opportunity to strike. While it remains unclear whether the assailants made off with any money, footage circulating on social media showed that the robbers ran away after shooting the police officer.
