“I, along with my bodyguard and driver, are in good health. It’s unfortunate, but we’re grateful to God for preserving our lives. We were actually on our way to Chereponi to make arrangements for the Vice President’s visit,” he said.
This comes after the Tolon MP anticipated that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will be inaugurated as the next President of Ghana on January 7, 2025.
Encouraging Northern region delegates, Iddrisu urged them to turn out in force on November 4, 2023, during the NPP primaries to support Dr. Bawumia’s leadership in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Highlighting Dr. Bawumia’s competence, loyalty, and hard work, the Tolon MP asserted that these qualities make him the most suitable candidate to lead the party in 2024.
“He is capable, dedicated, and more than capable of assuming the role of president,” the lawmaker from Tolon emphasized, stressing the vice president’s dedication to the northern region and his contribution to various developmental projects.
