Opoku Ware School often referred to as OWASS, has remained a force to reckon with as the best Ashanti Region SHS in WASSCE for some time now. However, they have been toppled in the 2020 WASSCE results league for the Ashanti region.
At the end of the 2020 WASSCE examination, the results declared by WAEC indicated Tepa Senior High School topped the Ashanti region as the best in the 2020 WASSCE for school candidates.
OWASS an all-boys high school in Santasi, a suburb of Kumasi, in the capital of the Ashanti region would have to work hard if they are to remain a force in the region.
The excellent performance of Tepa Senior High School was disclosed by the Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, when the Paramount Chief of Tepa, Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem paid a courtesy call on him in Accra.
