BECE Home Mock for 2025 exam starts October 4th

The result-producing and innovative BECE Home Mock by the Education News Consult for would-be 2024 BECE candidates starts on Friday, October 4th, 2024. Registration is still ongoing, and parents can come onboard to help their wards get the best support.

Registered candidates across the country will administer the examination, which will cover eight subjects. Candidates will take the examination in their respective homes, which serve as the exam center for each candidate.

Education-News Consult will administer subjects based on both Basic 7 and 8 curriculums for the examinations scheduled for October and November, while mock 3 will cover Basic 7, 8, and term 1 of Basic 9.

Parents and guardians will receive the examination materials on October 3, 2024. The examination, which is in its 4th year, will help prepare candidates in the most efficient way for the examination.

As part of efforts to ensure parents and candidates are ready for the pending home assessment, Education-News Consult organized an information session for parents on September 22nd, as well as another information session for candidates and parents titled “Mastering BECE Success: Free Online Training for 2025 BECE Candidates.”

End of Term Exams

We educated learners on several issues during the over 2 hour online session to ensure they start their preparation for the 2025 BECE on a good note.

Speaking during the program, Mr. Wisdom Hammond, the team lead at Education-News Consult, enlightened both registered and yet-to-register candidates on how they are to answer questions and the dos and don’ts of preparing for the examination. He called on learners to apply the tips shared not only for the BECE home mock but also during class assignments, tests, and mocks in their respective schools.

He also called on candidates to read and understand questions asked in the common core curriculum assessment before answering inquiries.

Mr. Michael Asare, one of the mathematics and integrated examiners at the Education-News Consult, took learners through some of the basic tips they must keep in mind when answering questions about the subject. He challenged the candidates to work hard, score at least 35 out of 40 in their objective tests, and answer their section B questions well, among other things, to help them score grade 1 in the two subjects. Mr. Asare also instructed the students to focus on topics such as graphic-related questions and comprehension questions, which the mathematics examiners at the BECE consistently ask.
