On September 30th, 2023, Sylvia’s Skills Fair orchestrated an inspiring event with the primary goal of empowering entrepreneurship through skills acquisition.
This impactful program unfolded at the GNAT Hall in Ho Municipal, drawing approximately 200 eager beneficiaries.
The event was meticulously designed to offer practical training, providing attendees with the essential knowledge and skills necessary to embark on successful entrepreneurial ventures.
The beneficiaries were thoughtfully divided into three groups, with 70 individuals delving into the art of wig making and frontal installation, 82 immersing themselves in the world of makeup artistry, and 48 passionately embracing the art of bead-making.
Additionally, all participants had the opportunity to gain expertise in liquid soap making, further broadening their skill sets.

The invaluable training sessions were expertly facilitated by four dedicated volunteer educators: Miss Priscilla Nyamadi, Miss Delight Foli, Miss Estalia Darkah, and Miss Florence Dede Asare, who generously donated their time and knowledge to uplift their fellow community members.
Beyond skill acquisition, the event featured enlightening entrepreneurship lectures delivered by distinguished speakers, Mr. Saviour Amakpah, Administrator at Royal Hospital, and Dr. Stanley Glatey, a respected lecturer in Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the Ho Technical University.
The program also extended its benevolence by providing free health screenings, thanks to the support of Mr. Saviour Amakpah and Royal Hospital.

Sylvia’s Skills Fair was made possible through the unwavering support of individuals and organizations that share a vision of making a positive societal impact. Notable sponsors included Hon. Edem Kofi Kpotosu, Hon. Isaac Kotobisa, Navian Enterprise, Dzialets Ltd, and Victor Electronics.
