GES Releases New Academic Calendar For Basic Schools And SHS

Ghana Education Service has released a new academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic year for all schools.

GES Academic Calendar For JHS, Primary and KG

Basic Schools 1st Term Vacation Date

Vacation for 1st term starts from 7th April through to 17th April, 2023.

Basic Schools 2nd Term Reopening Date

Basic Schools will resume on 18th April, 2023 and be in school up to 13th July, 2023.

Basic Schools 2nd Term Vacation Date

Vacation for the 2nd term will commence on 14th July, 2023 to 24th July, 2023.

Basic Schools 3rd Term Reopening Date

Basic Schools will resume on 25th July 2023 to 12th October, 2023.

Form 3 & Form 2 students will reopen on 9th January, 2023

Form 1 students will reopen on 20th February, 2023 and break on 13th April, 2023.
