GES Opens Promotion Portal For Teaching Staff

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has opened the 2023 Application for Promotion Interview for Non-Teaching Staff.

The applications are invited from suitable qualified serving Officers for consideration for promotion to the following grades:

What are the eligibility criteria for applying for promotion to non-teaching staff in the Ghana Education Service?

An applicant should have been promoted to his/her present grade on or before 1st September, 2019 and should have been continuously be at post since that date (except for periods of approved absence) and must have very satisfactory work history and conduct within the Ghana Education Service.

MODE OF APPLICATION

All applicants must log on to (www.gespromotions.gov.gh) from Monday, 26th February, 2024 to apply. Please take note of the following:

1. Complete the APPLICATION FORM and upload a passport-sized photograph.

II. Upload only your last Promotion or Upgrading or Appointment Letter.

III. Applicants using Masters/Doctorate Degree must upload their certificates.

NB:

All documents uploaded should be in PDF format with the exception of the passport-sized photograph
Upload clear and readable documents.

When is the deadline for the online application for promotion?

Deadline for the online application is 31st March, 2024.

Can I apply for promotion if I haven’t been continuously at post since September 1, 2019

Yes, and only if you asked permission and approved. If you were not at post continuously without approval, you cannot apply. You will be disqualified.
