Minister of Education advocates for STEMNNOVATION in the educational system of Ghana

In a significant move to advance Ghana ‘s education sector, the Minister of Education, Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, recently highlighted the pivotal role of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education during the third edition of the STEMNNOVATION competition held in Accra.

Dr. Adutwum underscored the government’s dedication to enhancing STEM education and allocating the necessary resources for its successful implementation across the country.

The STEMNOVATION competition provides a dynamic platform for schools and students to exhibit their innovative solutions to various real-world challenges, integrating technology and creative thinking.

This year, the competition has seen participation from over 200 students across different regions, all competing for a chance to advance to the national level.

In his address, Dr. Adutwum emphasized that STEM education is crucial for socio-economic development and is essential for Ghana to address both national and international challenges.
