Opambour warns Mahama ahead of 2024 elections

Opambour Issues Warning to John Mahama Ahead of 2024 Elections

Opambour, the revered founder and leader of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre, Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, has delivered a stern warning to former President John Dramani Mahama as the 2024 general elections approach.

Expressing his concerns, Opambour emphasized that Mahama must implement robust measures to alleviate the challenges imposed on Ghanaians by the current government. In his view, the Akufo-Addo-led administration has failed in managing the Ghanaian economy, resulting in a soaring inflation rate and various hardships for the citizens.

Opambour, foreseeing a potential victory for Mahama in the 2024 elections, urged the former president to devise policies that address the prevailing hardships and alleviate the suffering experienced by the people.

During a broadcast on his Prophet 1 TV, monitored by GhanaWeb, Opambour stated, “People should not think that after the 2024 elections, this is what will happen. The one who wins which is likely to be Mahama, should make sure he puts good measures in place. If it is Mahama, he should not think of doing the same thing as this [Akufo-Addo-led] government if not he will be saddened because of what I will do to him on this channel.”

Opambour underscored the importance of leadership that prioritizes positive change and improvement in the livelihoods of the citizens. He reminded Mahama that the people vote for new leaders with the expectation of an enhanced quality of life, not increased hardship.

As the 2024 elections draw near, political discourse intensifies, with attention focused on the flagbearers of the major political parties. While Mahama leads the opposition NDC, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia heads the ruling NPP.

Opambour’s warning serves as a reminder of the responsibility leaders bear in steering the nation toward prosperity and better living conditions for its citizens. The upcoming elections are poised to be a critical juncture, and the choices made by political leaders will significantly impact the trajectory of Ghana’s future.
