How to leverage Search Engine Optimization and rank either number one ( #1 )on Google or be on page one of search results remains an illusion for many new and old website owners and bloggers. If you can use the best practices I will share in this write-up which has helped many of my content on the web to rank, you will soon begin to reap the benefits of free useful traffic from search engines such as Bing, Yahoo, and Google.
The feeling you get when you realize your effort paid off and your content is ranking is a good one that will compel you to repeat the application of the same tips for each content over and over again.
This article has one thing in mind, and that is to share all the tips I use to get every content to the top.
If you are a blogger, a website owner, or a content creator, fasten your seat belt and add to your knowledge by reading this article to the end. The knowledge regarding SEO and content creation has been grouped into three phases.
You cannot rank by just starting to write anything for the web. Research of a kind must precede the writing of the first words. Do a keyword search even without using a paid SEO tool. Your Google Search Console can be a valuable place to start. It provides data on which keywords drive traffic to your site and that can help you discover one more related traffic-driving words that make Google send readers to your site. You can create new content using a combination of these keywords, which will bring more traffic to the site. Again, type your keywords into Google search, which will further provide additional phrases people are searching for. Compare these with your search console data and finalize the two or more focus key phrases you want to write and rank for.
For this content, the focus key phrases the content is expected to rank for are
Because of the above research and focus key phrases, you were able to probably see this content on Google search.
The first external eye of your content is the title. The title of a content that has the potential to rank must have the keywords or focus key phrases you want to rank for or which the content is all about. As you can see, the post title is “Rank #1 on Google using these Search Engine Optimization Tips”. It is a combination of the three focus key phrases labeled a, b, and c above. The keywords can start the title or be in the middle or at the tail end. The closer it is to the start, the better.
Once you hit the road running, ensure the content has a strong presence of the keywords you want to rank. It must be in paragraph one. Either at the start of the content or before the sentence ends. If you look at the first sentence of this article, you will not lose sight of the focus key phrases. Apply this method to every content and make it a habit. Do not compromise your SEO skills if you want every content you publish to beat the competition and be noticed.
Break your content into subsections and provide a quick summary of each section using header 2 or 3. This helps search engines that crawl the content page to easily tell what the content is about.
These H2 and H3 headers are very useful if they have the keywords you want to rank for as part of them. If you look at the first H2 of this content, you will see exactly this after the introduction.
Ensure that the key phrases you want to rank for must be captured and blended into the content at relevant points throughout the content, but this must not be overdone as it will be seen as a mere stuffing of the content with the focus key phrase. As you can see, I have not mentioned how to Rank #1 on Google using these Search Engine Optimization Tips until now.
For your content to rank, it must have value and provide a solution to those who bump into it online. The more useful it is, the more people read, share or comment, the more search engines are able to tell its value, and soon it will start moving up the rankings and become a useful search result and possibly rank number one for that particular key. Many of the sentences you use should be twenty words or less.
Do not write so many long sentences in your article. Make good use of simple sentences, compound sentences, and compound-complex sentences a few times. This will increase the readability score of the content and add to its ranking capabilities.
Use sharp images that load faster, use websites that help to compress your images. The faster an image loads, the better for your content, and even impatient readers will have no option to read instead of leaving the site. Visit compresspng.com to compress your images for every post
