When. school reopens, there is a need to know the key events and schedules that students must undertake before the term will come to an end

The Ghana Education Service GES is seriously putting in measures to make a school system one of the best things under the ministry. The reforms have affected the normal routine vacation and resuming dates for all the basic schools in Ghana.

According to the planned schedule from the national headquarters to the regional headquarters and down to the various Districts and Circuits, the second term is going to take only ten (10) weeks. That is students are going to spend 10 weeks in school to complete the second term.

The second term takes effect from Monday 3rd April to June 15, 2023. However, the official date for the vacation will be on the 16th of June 2023.

When we consider the number of months that children are going to stay in school, the calculation of 10 weeks will result in two (2) months, two (2) weeks.

All teachers are expected to be at the post and execute their duties and responsibilities to meet the needs and the Internet of the children in school. Headmasters must also be active and ensure that all teachers in their school deliver their tasks or assignments diligently to make the academic term a successful one.
