Do you know the SIM Card Registration ends 31st March? Do you know how to check to confirm your full and successful registration?
The SIM re-registration of all SIM cards in Ghana ends on 31st March. All SIM owners who fail to register their SIM cards completely will have their SIMs deactivated. This will prevent holders of such SIM cards from making and receiving calls as well as all other transactions and services offered via the SIM card such as mobile money.
A SIM card user is deemed to have successfully re-registered his or her SIM if he or she successfully goes through the phase 1 and phase 2 of the registration process. The challenge is if you have completed the two phases, how do you personally and independently check to verify?
You can follow our simplified steps shared here to check and confirm your SIM status.
If you check your SIM status and you see (Your Name, Unique code, and b-captured: Yes) it means that the registration process has successfully gone through.
However, if you see only (Your Name, Unique code) it means that the registration process is not completed and you have to visit the nearest office of the Telco company to complete the second stage of the registration process.
