Unemployed Graduate Diploma Teachers Petition Dr. Adutwum
The Unemployed University Graduate Diploma Teachers (UUDGRAT) Ghana has petitioned the incoming Minister of Education Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum to consider recruiting them into the Ghana Education Service as teaching staff.
According to the group led by Mr. Sadzi Williams Kofi Mawuli (President) members have met all the requirements for employment as teaching staff, but they are yet to be recruited.
The letter dated 11th February also disclosed that they were ignored in the last postings by the GES, although they have met all the requirements.
They have been unemployed since they completed school and are finding it difficult to make ends meet.
The group, therefore, believes it is their time to be posted and look forward to that without any delay.
The Unemployed University Graduate Diploma Teachers, just like those posted, have completed their national service, sat and passed the NTC examination, and have been awarded their respective licensure certificates as professional teachers fit for purpose.
