2023 BECE: JHS 3 Last Vacation Date Revealed
2023 Basic Education Certificate Examinations(BECE) will be written from Monday, 7th August, 2023 to Friday, 11th August, 2023. All JHS 3 students, who are now candidates for the exams, are currently preparing towards the examination.
JHS 3 students resumed the second term of the 2023 academic calendar on Monday, 3rd April, 2023. They will be in school till 15th June, 2023. They will then resume on 27th June, 2023 for their final semester. So Between 15th June, 2023 and 27th June, 2023 is the final vacation period for all JHS 3 students nationwide. There will be no third term vacation for them because their BECE will start in August, which is just a month away.

Yes, the West African Examinations Council has officially released the final timetable of the 2023 Basic Education Certificate Exams.

- DIFFERENCE IN TIME ON QUESTION PAPER AND TIMETABLE
Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from what is on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be followed.
- EXTRA TIME FOR CANDIDATES WITH VISUAL AND HEARING IMPAIRMENT
Candidates with visual and hearing impairments are to be allowed an additional 50% of the time allotted to other candidates.
