2025 Schools Placements Out, GES Outlines Admission Process, Reporting and Registration
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the release of the 2025 Schools Placement which is now live and accessible on the CSSPS portal.
In the press release that announced the release, the GES further outlined the 2025 school admission procedures, reporting and registration protocols as well as the need for compliance to all education officers and the general public.
Admission Process
The GES disclosed that the admission of students should strictly follow the placement list generated by the CSSPS Secretariat.
It added that “No school is permitted to admit students outside the official placement without prior written approval from GES.”
Reporting and Registration
On the issue of Reporting and Registration, the GES directed that all students placement are to report to their schools from 18th October, 2025.
Heads of Schools are to ensure that registration is conducted smoothly and in accordance with the guidelines provided.
However, for students to report to school, they must first with the help of parents go through the student enrollment processes of their respective schools.
Compliance
As a result of past experiences that associate with the school placement system in the area of the sale of placement slots, the GES and the Ministry of Education has warned that
“Any infraction, including unauthorized admissions, will attract the necessary administrative sanctions.”
Parents are to print the schoo pacement slip, enrollment form, school prospectus, attach their BECE results, Ghana Card and other relevant documents before heading to their respective schools for the start of enrollemt processes.
It has therefore asked all “Regional and District Directors are to monitor and provide the necessary supervisory support during the admission period.”
