The 2026 BECE batch of candidates represents the final group of students WAEC will examine using “The Cockcrow.” To ensure they are adequately prepared for this transition, we have released this free preparatory book.
In addition to the Literature guide, we have released similar “Pass Books” for English Language, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Science. Within each of these resources, candidates, teachers, and parents will find between 200 and 300 highly likely objective test questions and answers specifically curated for intensive revision.
Our 2026 BECE Objective Test Series includes:
English Language: 2026 BECE English Language 200 Objective Test Pass Book
Social Studies: 2026 BECE Social Studies 300 Objective Test Pass Book
Mathematics: 2026 BECE Mathematics 200 Objective Test Pass Book
Science: 2026 BECE Science 300 Objective Test Pass Book
Why These Objective Test Questions are Vital for Candidates
The BECE is technically divided into subjective (Theory) and objective (Multiple Choice) papers. For each subject, candidates must answer 40 objective questions, each carrying one mark. A student’s overall success depends heavily on both sections. However, a candidate’s chance of passing any subject is, first and foremost, dependent on the score obtained in Section A (The Objective Paper).
While a score of 30 is acceptable, students who achieve 35 or more out of 40 in the objective section stand a significantly better chance of securing an aggregate ‘1’ or ‘2’, provided they perform reasonably well in Section B.
Empowering Students and Schools
To help students excel, we have released these materials to facilitate collaboration between candidates and teachers as they approach the BECE. We strongly encourage parents to secure these resources for their wards. These books are a “must-have” for all BECE candidates, schools, and teachers.
The questions cover the entire common core curriculum for each subject. By revising with these materials, students will be “super ready” to conquer the exam hall. Each subject is structured for ease of use: after reading the questions and alternatives, the correct answer is immediately provided for instant feedback.
