How to answer social studies questions that require students to describe when related to diagrams.
To answer such questions…
1. Draw and label the diagram first. Make sure the diagram is well drawn and labeled correctly because marks will be awarded for both the drawing and the parts labeled.
2. Describe the diagram/process in words.

With the help of a diagram describe how any one type of rainfall is formed.

Step 2: Describe the describe in words, in this case, describe how the rainfall type you chose is formed in the correct order.
Relief rainfall
a. Relief rainfall is commonly experienced in hilly areas.
b. Moist wind from the sea or lakes blows against highlands.

Now if you want to score the full marks, write answers in this form.
a.Hot water from power stations and boilers raises the temperature for water bodies they flow into and kill aquatic life in such water bodies.
b. Oil spillage into water bodies will interfere with the recreational use of these water bodies.
c. Poisonous chemicals will flow into lakes, rivers, and other water bodies and reduce the air (oxygen) aquatic animals breathe.
d. Untreated sewage contains germs and when released into water bodies, they can lead to diseases such as cholera and typhoid.

The sagrenti war was a war that ensued between the Asantes and the British.It was named Sagrenti war because the Asantes weren’t able to pronounce the name Sis Garnet Wolsely well.It took place in the year 1874.In this war,the Asantes wanted to rebuild their empire and also retaliate as the British helped the Fantes in the Battle of Nsamanko and Akatamanso respectively.The British defeated the Asantes in this war.It led to the burning of Kumasi and therefore claimed many lives and properties
