The timetable confirms the exam dates as from 9th June to 16th June 2025. Candidates will write a maximum of 10 subjects out of the 11, and a minimum of 9 subjects.

The newly released 2025 BECE Timetable differs from the timetable used by WAEC for the 2024 examination. In the new timetable released by WAEC, candidates will write Social Studies and Computing on the first day of the examination, 9th June.

English Language, which has remained the first subject to be written at the BECE since 1990, has been moved to the second day of the exam but maintains its paper one spot. It will be written along with Career Technology on 10th June 2025.

On Wednesday, 11th June 2025, candidates will be tested in Science and Ghanaian Language respectively. Mathematics has remained a Thursday paper at the BECE, even with the changes made by WAEC.
