NSA formerly NSS introduces new national service portal https://gnsa.gov.gh

The management of the Ghana National Service Authority (NSA), formerly the National Service Scheme (NSS), has introduced a new portal https://gnsa.gov.gh for national service applications.

Speaking at a press conference, the Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Ruth Dela Seddoh, explained the reason why the old national service portal https://nss.gov.gh was closed and a new portal was introduced.

She said the introduction of the new portal follows a directive from President John Mahama for a Technical and Forensic Audit to be conducted on the previous Central Service Management Platform (CSMP).

“The audit found the system unsatisfactory. Consequently, the Authority was directed to design and deploy a new, more robust digital platform to guarantee transparency, security, and real-time verification,” the Director-General of the NSA explained at the press conference.

The National Service Authority (NSA) Director disclosed that the national service year for the 2025 academic year will officially commence on Monday, November 3, 2025.

She indicated the starting date for all national service personnel to be at their deployed service station is Saturday, 1st November 2025, and the Service year officially commences on Monday, 3rd November 2025.
