BREAKING: Process Initiated For Akufo-Addo Impeachment; Massive Demo Date Announced – Details Drop

Martin Kpebu, a prominent lawyer, has called on Ghanaians to join him in a “Kumi preko reloaded” rally to force President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to resign.
Martin Kpebu believes President Akufo-Addo should be impeached because he cannot rule.
Demonstrations may help Ghanaians overthrow the president. Next Saturday, November 5, I’ll demo “Kumi preko reloaded” with police permission. Ghanaians should attend the 7:00 am Obra Spot start.
“If the president does not quit by then, we demonstrate and bring him a petition stating we have had enough of him, and he should step down,” he stated in Twi in a Neat FM interview recorded by GhanaWeb.

The lawyer said that if the president refuses to resign, the Ghanaian Parliament would impeach him.
He added that one-third of legislators (92 MPs) must sign a petition citing the country’s present difficulties to impeach the president.
Kpebu explained the impeachment procedure by saying that the 92 MPs would sign the petition and send it to the Speaker of Parliament, who will then submit it to the Supreme Court Chief Justice. After concluding that the petition has merit with four other Supreme Court judges, the Chief Justice would write to the Speaker of Parliament to impeach Akufo-Addo as president of Ghana.
