Presec are 2022 NSMQ Champions, Beat Prempeh And Adisco in the Final

Legon Presec cement their reign as the National Science and Maths Quiz champions as they beat Prempeh College and Adisadel College at the National Science And Maths Quiz 2022 finals.

Out of their 11 appearances at the nsmq finals they have secured 7 wins which makes them the school with the highest number of trophies. Their motto for this season was “We are seven a living God” and indeed their living God has glorified them.

The finals took place at the KNUST theater in Kumasi. The closing ceremony started at 2pm and the contest started at 3:30pm.

At the end of the first round Prempeh was leading with 16 points, Presec was second with 15 points and Adisadel was third with 14 points.

ROUND 1:
Prempeh College – 16 points
Presbyterian Boys – 15 points
Adisadel College – 14 points

At the end of the second round there was a tie between Presec and Prempeh College and Adisadel was third.

ROUND 2:
Presbyterian Boys – 21 points
Prempeh College – 21 points
Adisadel College – 13 points

At the end of the third round Prempeh was leading with 28 points, Presec was second 27 with points and Adisadel was third 19 with points.

ROUND 3:
Prempeh College – 28
Presbyterian Boys – 27
Adisadel College – 19

At the end of the fourth round Prempeh was leading with 41 points, Presec was second 40 with points and Adisadel was third 32 with points.

ROUND 4:
Prempeh College – 41
Presbyterian Boys – 40
Adisadel College – 32

At the end of the fifth round, Presec was leading with 50 points, Prempeh was second 41 with points and Adisadel was third 32 with points.
