The National Democratic Congress NDC organized its regional elections in Oti Region. This is to elect party executives at the regional levels who will champion the cause of the party to win the election 2024.
On Sunday 13th November 2022, all party aspirants in the Oti Region converge to exercise their franchise to elect their Regional Executives in Oti Region.

The unexpected update emerging from the election grounds depicts that, one of the aspirants identified as Yawkubu collapsed at the spot when he lost the elections. Yawkubu contested as NDC Oti Regional secretary and lost.
“Yakubu went to the election grounds all in white. His spirit was high. All indications from the side Yawkubu shows he is going to win. The unfortunate happened. Yawkubu has been admitted. Currently, responding to medical treatment”. – Report indicate.
