A reputable institution is looking for a Head of Marketing with the required skills and experience

Job Title: Head of Marketing
Department: Management
Reports Directly to: Chief Executive Officer
Directly Supervises: Marketing Officers

Purpose:

• Responsible for the planning, development and execution of all of the bank’s marketing strategies, marketing communications and public relations efforts, both external and internal, as well as coordinating at the strategic and tactical levels with the other operations of the bank

General Duties

• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the marketing department
• Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all media channels
• Monitoring customer satisfaction and ongoing service quality
• Analyze consumer behaviour and determine customer persons
• Identify community events and opportunities that maximise the bank’s visibility and align with the bank’s strategic objectives
• Identify new marketing segments, product development and market share growth opportunities
• To undertake other functions as may be directed by the Chief Executive Officers from time to time

External Relations

• Maintain contacts with Media Houses (i.e Electronic and Printing), the communities, customers/clients and regulatory bodies including the Bank of Ghana (BoG) and ARB Apex Bank for regulatory compliance and updates

Qualification Required & Experience

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication Studies or a related field. CIM, Master in Marketing, and Business Administration (MBA) degrees will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Banking, preferably commercial, rural or community banking with 3 years experience in managerial practice
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, T24 Banking software and reporting writing, leadership, managerial skills, multi-tasking and Big-Picture Thinking
