The release of the 2022 BECE results and the investigations of examination Malpractices announced by WAEC has got many students worried, especially those who were caught in the act of cheating during the examination. Others who may not know they are included in the list of those being investigated are students whose involvement in examination malpractices was detected during the marking of scripts.

How to know if you have been invited by WAEC for Examination Malpractices Investigations

Very often, WAEC uploads the list of students who were suspected to have engaged in infractions during the exam and during marking. This list is based on the region in which you are located. Once you find your name on the list, you must make efforts to be present at the investigation meeting with WAEC on the given date and the venue.

In some instances, the information may be sent to candidates through other means such as the district directorate or any other means to the school where the candidate was registered for the examination.

The webpage where the Malpractice list is often uploaded is Here

On this page, JHS candidates can click on BECE (School) to check the list for the year, eg. 2022.

At the time of this publication, WAEC was yet to publish a list for 2022 for the public to access.
