On Thursday, 24th August, 2023, fans of WWE were hit with a very sad and unfortunate news. WWE superstar Bray Wyatt was announced dead after struggling with a life-threatening illness.

The world champion had not competed since January and as per reports he was nearing a comeback to the ring. He said to be dealing with a life-threatening disease and was taking precautions to ensure long-term health. He was improving significantly and was medically cleared to wrestle again, reports have said.

Cause Of Bray Wyatt’s Death

The cause of his death has been revealed. According to report, he died of heart attack. According to reports just days before his death, he had been making positive progress towards recovery, and had been medically cleared for a WWE return just two weeks prior to his death. Shortly after his death, it was revealed that the illness was COVID-19, which had exacerbated an existing heart issue

Windham Lawrence Rotunda, popularly known as Bray Wyatt is a WWE Superstar. He was born on May 23, 1987. He was an American professional wrestler. He was best known for his tenure in WWE. He died at age 36.
He attended Hernando High School, where he won a state wrestling championship at 275 pounds (125 kg) in 2005, the year of his graduation.

He also played football as a defensive tackle and guard. Rotunda played at the College of the Sequoias for two seasons, earning second-team All-American honors as a sophomore offensive guard. He earned a football scholarship to Troy University, where he played collegiate football for two years.

He left Troy 27 credit hours short of earning a bachelor’s degree after deciding to become a professional wrestler

Wyatt was a three-time world champion during his time with WWE, twice holding the Universal Championship and having one stint as WWE Champion. He was released by the company unexpectedly in 2021 but returned triumphantly in October 2022.
