The decision on the part of Honorable Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten to break away from the ruling party, The New Patriotic Party NPP is still a debatable issue in Ghana. Many people are of the view that, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten has betrayed his own political party of which he was one of the founding members. On the other hand, a section of the Ghanaian population is of the view that it is the current leadership of the New Patriotic Party that has betrayed the good works of Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten and not Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten betraying the party. Speaking on JoyNews, the leader and founder of Movement For Change (MFC) made it clear that, the perception of people about the NPP in the public domain is not equally the same as how things are been done in the party. Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten is of the view that there is a particular secret about the New Patriotic Party NPP that most people do not know when it comes to those who influence the Elephant Party.
The flag bearer for Movement For Change (MFC) revealed that there are several people behind the scenes when it comes to politics within the New Patriotic Party NPP who have a greater portion of influence in the party than most of the ministers and cabinet members of the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP.
