American Actress and Talk show host, Jada Koren Pinkett Smith, has revealed that she and Will Smith have been separated since 2016.
This shocking revelation has gotten a lot of mixed reactions.

An exclusive clip from the NBC News prime time special with Hoda Kotb airing on October 13 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT NBC – Pinkett Smith admitted to Hoda that there was more to her marriage than she had previously let on.

According to Pinkett Smith, she and Smith have been separated and living “completely separate” since 2016, nearly 20 years after they married in 1997.
Pinkett Smith explains about them, including how the relationship started and where it started, going from here in her upcoming autobiography, “It’s Worth It,” which will be released on 17th October, 2023.

In a video preview, Hoda asked Pinkett Smith to clarify the marriage reveal in her story, saying it was the “most surprising” of the “many surprises” in the book. Although the two are legally married, Pinkett Smith clarified to Kotb that she and Smith are no longer in a relationship.
“It was not a divorce on paper,” Kotb explained. “Right,” Pinkett Smith replied.
“…but this is a divorce,” Kotb continued. Pinkett Smith covers “Divorce.”
When Kotb asked directly why the couple hadn’t announced their relationship sooner, Pinkett Smith said it came down to “unprepared…still trying to figure out what to do.” Partnership. ..how do we actually explain this to people?
“We didn’t even think about it. ” When Kotb asked what caused the relationship to “break up,” Pinkett Smith replied:
“Why it fractured… that.. that is a lot of things. By the time we got to 2016, we were exhausted. “1 think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be,” she says.
