NSMQ 2023 Final: Presec graduates, now Africa World Airlines pilots flew 2023 contestants to Accra (Pictures and Video)

In a heartwarming gesture of support, two Presec graduates who are now pilots with Africa World Airlines (AWA) flew the school’s 2023 contestants from Kumasi to Accra for the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) final scheduled for October 31st, 2023, at the National Theatre.

The pilots were Captain Michael Larbi, who completed Presec Legon some twenty years ago (2003), and his co-pilot, Samuel Asiedu Appiah. Both alumni of Presec were eager to show their support for the school’s NSMQ team as they work with Africa Airlines.

The contestant, who was flown from Tamale to Accra, was thrilled to be able to travel in style and comfort. He said that he was grateful to the pilots for their support and that he was confident that Presec would do well in the competition.

The gesture by the pilots is a testament to the strong bond that exists between Presec alumni. It is also a reminder of the importance of giving back to one’s alma mater.

The 2023 NSMQ is currently ready for the 2023 finals, and Presec is one of the favourites to win the competition. The school has a long history of success in the NSMQ, having won the competition on seven occasions. They are eyeing an enviable eighth title.
