In a statement, the Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said that “detectives were immediately sent to the scene.

Photographs were taken, the insecticide plastic containing little content, her three passports and one Samsung phone were recovered in her small bag.”

Hundeyin added that efforts are underway to contact the family members of the deceased.

This incident highlights the importance of mental health and access to medical care for those suffering from ongoing illnesses. Even in times of depression, taking insecticides is not the best idea.

It is a tragic reminder that more needs to be done to support individuals who are struggling with similar circumstances.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Lilian Nwarache during this difficult time.
