The National Teaching Council (NTC) is expected to start issuing the in-service teachers license from Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
This will be a nationwide distribution of teachers licenses to all qualified in-service teachers starting from Greater Accra Region.
NTC in-service teachers license dates for other regions
The NTC in a statement sighted by Ghanaeducation.org said dates for the issuance of certificates to teachers in other regions will be made public later.
An Unprofessional teacher issued with an in-service teachers license will later receive a temporary license from the NTC to enable such a teacher to upgrade and sit for the teacher licensure to be qualified.

To ensure no teacher is left behind in the ongoing registration for teacher license, the NTC in a communique indefinitely extended the May 7, 2021 deadline.
“Teachers are to note that registration at the TPG is the first step for qualified teachers to be issued the license. After licensing of teachers, NTC will register and issue a temporary license to non-qualified teachers.”
All teachers practicing in Ghana have therefore being encouraged to log on to https://tpg.ntc.gov.gh to register for their license.
