Job Vacancy For Information Technology (IT) Officer
A reputable rural Bank in the Ashanti Region is seeking to employ qualified persons to fill the position of: Information Technology (IT) Officer In Charge or E-Banking and Emerging Technologies
Qualification Required & Experience
• At least a Degree in Computer Science with 3 years post – qualification experience
• A certificate in digital marketing, social media management of digital content management could be an added advantage
Job Skills / Knowledge
• Social media savvy and commercially aware
• Good graphic design skills
• Working knowledge of relevant I.T Applications used by the Bank
• Proficient in the use of social media and digization platforms
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and Microsoft Technologies
• Knowledgeable in emerging I.T trends/business solutions
• Good networking skills
• Strong analytical mind
• Problem-solving skills
• Good facilitation skills
Job Duties
• Introduce the bank to emerging I.T trends
• Ensure the bank fully embraces such innovations as far as possible, as well as digitization
• Spearhead e-banking solutions of the bank
• Manage the bank’s social media platforms and see to their effective functioning
• Use graphic tools to create exciting product campaigns of adverts
• Assist in the training of staff on basic I.T issues and appreciation of usage of emerging I.T applications
• Provide maintenance and support of systems and business application systems of the bank
• Train staff on business systems and applications to ensure users can effectively run the systems
• Resolve incidents and escalate unresolved issues to ensure they are addressed promptly
• Provide support to users of software and applications used by the bank
• Provide support to staff of the bank to use the various business applications
• Provide support to the I.T department whenever necessary
• To perform any other tasks which may be assigned by the supervisor or management
