The delay in the release of the results by WAEC will have serious implications. Parents and students have to know their results, complete their university admissions process, and submit the same for consideration by the universities.

The universities, on the other hand, will have limited time to permit students to complete the above and also work around the clock to release their admission into the various universities.

Enrolling one’s ward into a university is more expensive compared to secondary school. Financing decisions have to be made, and the earlier admissions come out, the better. However, some universities have already started informing the public of their 2024 fees, which also helps parents plan for their ward’s first semester in school in January 2024.
