UPSA SRC: Kwarteng-Farouk Administration’s First 100 Days Marks a Transformative Journey

In a significant milestone marking their 100 days in office, the Kwarteng-Farouk-led administration at UPSA SRC showcased a myriad of impactful initiatives aimed at reshaping campus life and ensuring student welfare. Embracing the ABANDININ vision, the administration embarked on a journey focused on long-term objectives and resilience-building strategies.

Under the leadership of H.E Amoah Sarfo Kwarteng, the 57th UPSA SRC President, the administration highlighted their commitment to transparency, accountability, and holistic student development. The initial 100 days witnessed a blend of projects categorized under Advocacy, Academics, Welfare, and Sports, all centered on fostering a more robust and inclusive campus community.

The External Affairs Secretariat spearheaded the “Free Driving Lessons Initiative,” aiming to equip students beyond academia, empowering them with essential skills for life. Meanwhile, the Women’s Commission rolled out multifaceted programs, including Breast Cancer Awareness Campaigns, Entrepreneurship Skills Training, and robust activism against Gender-Based Violence, advocating for vital societal issues.

The UPSA SRC’s proactive measures extended to academic domains with initiatives like the Leadership Orientation Forum and collaboration with GETFund for Scholarship Monitoring. These initiatives aimed to equip students with leadership skills and alleviate financial constraints faced in pursuing education, providing comprehensive support to scholars.
