Argentina National football team will play against Nigeria national team in a friendly Match in March. Date and venue has been revealed.
The international friendly match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Albiceleste of Argentina has been relocated to the United States of America. Originally slated to take place in China, the match will now occur in March.
The venue will be in the United States of America. Specific stadium is yet to be announced. The game will be played on 20th March, 2024 during the international break.
The decision to shift the venue came after a dispute arose involving Argentina’s star player, Lionel Messi, and Chinese soccer authorities. Messi’s refusal to participate in a friendly match between his club, Inter Miami, and Hong Kong X1 due to a groin injury sparked tensions with Chinese soccer officials.
