University of Ghana new calendar, reopening date for level 200 and 300 students out

The University of Ghana following the suspension of the UTAG strike action has announced a new calendar for level 200 and 300 students.

Per the letter released by the University and copied to Ghanaeducation.org, academic work for level 200 and 300 students will start on 16th September 2021. Students are to report and undergo the registration processes. Teaching begins on 20th September for the level 200 and 300 students.

THE SECOND SEMESTER, 2020/2021

Subsequent to the suspension of the industrial action by the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG), the Business and Executive Committee at a meeting held on August 23, 2021 ratified the decision for the second semester exams for Levels 100 and 400 to take place from August 25 to September 9, 2021, and further took the following decisions:

  • September 16, 2021 – Levels 200 and 300 report for the Second Semester
  • September 20, 2021, Teaching begins for Levels 200 and 300.

 

Levels 100 and 400 students should browse the online daily time-table  (https://sts.ug.edu.gh/timetable/) for details on onsite examinations or consult their Examiners for offsite examination arrangements.

 

Levels 200 and 300 students are advised to check the University Website for the details of the revised calendar of the second semester here: https://www.ug.edu.gh/academics/calendar .

 

All students, faculty and staff are entreated to adhere to directives circulated in this regard.
