All basic schools in Ghana will end the second term of the 2023 academic year today, Thursday, 15th June, 2023. Vacation starts on Friday, 16th June, to 26th June, 2023.
Sudents are expected resume on 27th June, 2023. It is a ten-day vacation for all basic schools in Ghana. This is a very short vacation.
Term two of the 2023 academic year began on Monday, 3rd April, 2023. Basic Schools spent 10 weeks and 4 days in the second term.
The 2023 academic calendar for both basic schools and SHS will end on 15th September, 2023.

2023 BECE
The 2023 BECE is for all final year pupils at the JHS level. This year’s BECE will be written on Monday, 7th August, 2023 and end on Friday, 11th August, 2023.
The official timetable is out. All BECE candidates are encouraged to be by their books at this last minutes to their exams. There is a cut of grade for SHS admission. Candidates may not get the SHS they desire of they do not perform well at the BECE.
