Latest Ghana Education News Update: CAGD issues new directives on e-payslip update requests.
Information reaching Ghanaeducation.org indicates that the Controller and Accountant Generals Department (CAGD) has issued a new directive on procedures public sector employees must follow for changes they request to be affected by the (CAGD).
It said all future changes requested must be put in writing and accompanied by a supporting letter from the requesting staff’s HOD/HR. The staff requesting for the changes to be made to his or her data with the (CAGD) must also attach a copy of the Ghana card/SSNIT card.
All the details and supporting documents are to be sent to any CAGD Regional office for onward submission to Treasury Headquarters.
The directive did not however disclose the reasons behind the change in procedures for correcting and making changes to e-payslip data of government employees.

Kindly note that henceforth a request for telephone number change and any other request that requires termination of e-payslip user account shall be made in writing accompanied by a letter from the HOD/HR and supported by a copy of the Ghana card/SSNIT card to be submitted to any CAGD Regional office for onward submission to Treasury Headquarters.
