Can I Change My 2021/2022 School Placement? Yes & No
Since the release of the 2021/2022 School Placement, BECE candidates have been asking one question. That is “Can I Change My 2021/2022 School Placement?”
FQAs: Can I Change My 2021/2022 School Placement?
The Ministry of Education has disclosed that students who use the Self Placement Module can change their school choice as many times as possible, but once they report to the school they chose and begin the enrolment process, they cannot change their school again.
For students who were placed automatically into one of the six (6) schools they chose, they cannot change the school and cannot also use the self-placement module to select a school.
However, for those who may have peculiar issues, they can call the Ministry of Education call centre for assistance if they believe they have been placed in a school they did not choose for instance.
Such students and others who have genuine problems with their placement can call to lodge their complaints and make inquiries, through the MoE helpline 030 298 7654.
Students who have been automatically placed in a school they chose during the school selection phase of the 2021 BECE cannot make such changes. However, whatever the issue, calling the MoE help centre is one sure way to get the best answers to the many questions you have.
