D-Black reveals why he gave GHC15,000 to a TikTok star
D-Black, a rapper and entrepreneur, has clarified the reason behind his generous gift of GHC15,000 to a TikTok star and restaurateur, Aba Dope. He said it was not a donation, but an investment for her business.
Aba Dope had earlier disclosed on the Delay Show that she received financial support from D-Black and another person named Mah to expand her restaurant business.
She said she started her restaurant at Club Onyx, owned by D-Black, in December 2020 and later opened two more branches in East Legon and Tema.

D-Black confirmed this story in an interview with TV3 on October 20. He said he gave Aba Dope the money because she was working at his club and was in charge of the food.
He said he wanted to help her open another branch and invested in her business.
He also revealed that he had already recovered his money from Aba Dope. When asked how he got his money back, he simply said, “Cash, please.”
D-Black said he does this for everybody if he can, and that he is not interested in dating or marrying slay queens. He said he prefers simple and natural women who are serious and responsible.

D-Black is known for his music and business ventures, such as Black Avenue Muzik, Club Onyx, Oasis Lounge, and Volcano Energy Drink. He is also a philanthropist who supports various causes and initiatives.
Aba Dope is a popular TikTok influencer who has over 300,000 followers on the platform.

She is also a successful restaurateur who serves local dishes such as banku, fufu, waakye, and jollof rice. She has been praised for her hard work and determination.
Club Onyx is a nightclub in Accra, Ghana, owned by D-Black, a rapper and entrepreneur. It shares the same environment with his Oasis Lounge but is run as a separate business with D-Black as its CEO.
