The main pillar of the Christian religion is the Bible. The Bible serves as a guide, protection and answers all questions of life. The Bible speaks about the act of worshipping together as people or Christians in truth and in spirit.
This brought about churches and denominations in our localities. However, the current behavior put up by some churches and pastors seem to be inappropriate as compared to the teachings in the Bible.
Christians all over the universe highly acknowledge the essence of attending church services as the Bible encourages so. With regard to the massive increase in the number of churches, fake individuals have set up their own churches and has made this churches to be profit making businesses. It is with this basis that I would highly advise Christians to avoid attending these churches.
Here are three churches in Ghana you should avoid attending. Most people tag such churches as organizations hoping to get a lot of money from the church members and not preaching the salvation message to them.
1. A church that its main aim is to receive rather than giving. A church should also highly give back to the community. According to my belief, tithes and offerings should be out of an individual’s will and no one should be forced. Some of the churches we attend subject their members into shame by announcing of what one has given as an offering.
2. Christians should highly avoid churches that do not condemn poor dressing code especially for ladies. Some church leaders do not rebuke this behaviour as their motive is not genuine. This is why we even find some pastors being caught red handed sleeping with their congregants.
3. Churches that ‘steals’ from its members. A commandment condemns stealing and it is a sin. Some church leaders seem to be in competition of gaining publicity and money and thus tend to perform fake miracles. This is ‘stealing’ from innocent church members.
