VISA is selling a dollar at GHS13.00 per the latest updates and Forbes has also quoted a $1 to be GHS12.02. Clearly the Ghanaian Cedi is depreciating faster and finds it difficult to remain stable.
Thus, the dollar has appreciated again against the Cedi as the local currency continues to weaken further ahead of a projected IMF Bailout of $3 billion in May 2023.
