Two papers will be written on Wednesday, 9th August, 2023. They include; Social Studies and Basic Design Technology (BDT). Social Studies will be written first followed by Ghanaian Language..
Social Studies 2 (Essay) will start at exactly 9.00 am and end at 10:00 a.m. Integrated Science 1 (Objective) will also start at 10:00 a.m. and end on 10:45am.
Candidates will now take a break from 10:45 am to 1:00pm.

Basic Design Technology paper will then begin at 1:00pm. However, candidates must be seated 30 minutes before that time. Ghanaian Language 2 (Essay) will start 1.00 p.m. and end at 2.15p.m. The Objectives will start at 2.15p.m and end at 2.55 p.m
The BECE began on Monday, 7th August, 2023. For the first time in history, there were more females than males. Over 600,000 candidates were registered.
