The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released a new Press Release on Promotion Exams for all teachers in the service.
The GES has indicated that staff members of the service are being defrauded by some criminals who pose are staff of the Ghana Education Service.
It added that it shall not be held liable for any payments made by teachers to those carrying out the Teacher promotion scam.

TEACHER PROMOTION SCAM
It has come to the notice of the Management of Ghana Education Service that innocent teachers who sat for the promotion examination this year are being defrauded by ‘supposed GES staff.
Management is by this notice vehemently condemning such practice and wishes to inform the general public that GES believes in the credibility of assessment and will not do anything to undermine the principles of assessment.
We wish to emphasize that teachers are only promoted when they sit and pass their examination organized by the Service.
