GES to release 2024 recruited degree graduates appointment letters in batches
The Ghana Education Service (GES), after restoring the teacher promotion portal (https://gespromotions.govgh) amid downtime, says it will release appointment letters of the 2024 recruited degree graduates in batches.
In a statement sighted by GhanaEducation.org, the management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) said the recruitment portal which experienced days of downtime amid technical glitches, has been restored.
“Management is recruiting these graduates as qualified applicants to fill critical positions in batches. As and when a batch is completed, qualified applicants will receive a text message and proceed to the platform to print their appointment letter,” GES stated.
The release of the appointment letters in batches comes after the Ghana Education Service (GES) on September 3, 2024, invited applications from qualified individuals to apply for teaching positions in the service.

Out of the 38,748 applications received, the Ghana Education Service management in the statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Cassandra Twum-Ampofo said 11,665 applicants met the minimum requirements to be employed.
The release of the 2024 postings of degree-holding graduates and their appointment letters will ensure applicants secure a job with the Ghana Education Service.
The update “GES to release 2024 recruited degree graduates appointment letters in batches” comes a few days before the December 2024 general elections, which cast doubts on the disrespect the GES has for teachers who applied. This is the general feeling among applicants who have also vowed to vote against the rulling NPP government if they are posted later than November 30, 2024.
The recruitment process, which started in August, has been delayed until now with no update from the Ghana Education Service, which has left applicants frustrated and disappointed.
Good luck to all teachers who applied for posting.
